Are you still happy to live in this world despite the wars and quarrels from time to time?
A Daisy lived happily in the meadow. One afternoon, while the Daisy was showing off her very white petals, a skylark came and kissed her golden heart. The daisies felt valued, and the prettier flowers could only show pride and envy: when they saw the love, the tulips turned red, the peonies swelled with envy.
The Daisy was even happier when the lark sang songs about freedom and love. But some of the children set a trap for the singing lark and caught her. At the same time they caught some grass in the grass where the Daisy was growing, and put her in the cage, too.
After many days in captivity, the lark began to complain that the children did not even give her any water. The Daisy could not move and did not know how to help her. The anxious situation continued, until the lark stretched out her wings and uttered a piteous squeak from her throat...
The heart of the Daisy is very sad, her golden yellow, withered stamens ooze sweet tears. These tears are enough to quench the thirst of the dying lark.
The children gave the lark a beautiful funeral and threw away the Daisy.
Sometimes other people's pain can change the way we feel and think, and it can even affect our lives.
